February Calendar of Events

Take a break and meet new people in the Multicultural Center or meet the staff outside of the Center.  On Wednesday, February 8 we are collaborating with OCE and Professor Elliott Lewis from Journalism to host It's a Multi-Racial Thing! in the Red Room at 4:30pm.  Join us for refreshments, film, book reading, and discussion on the multiracial experience.

Key highlihts:
The Sankofa Film Series continues every other week and we hope you can join us on February 15.
We are collaborating with the Muslim Student Association to host a luncheon for Muslim students from Purchase and surrounding colleges on February 15.  Students interested in participating should email ceg.multicultural.center@purchase.edu
Our first spring speaker, Chris Crass, will be on campus February 23 at 6pm in the Humanities Theatre and his topic is "Strategies for Engaging White People into Racial Justice Action."
We have several students and student clubs using the space such as American Sign Language, Philosophy Society, student hosted Bollywood Movie Night, and student hosted Singing, Prayer, Devo. Chrisitan
