2017-2018 Impact

In 2017-2018, the Multicultural Center (MCC) reached the following:

  • 3196 total student attendance including repeats
  • 1119 individual students 
  • 358 faculty and staff 
  • 95 guests, alumni, and community 
Programming entailed:
  • 222 events held in the Multicultural Center
  • 129 events hosted by MCC and partners
  • 75 events hosted by Student leaders (Resident Assistants, Senior Projects, and Student Clubs)
  • 12 diversity education workshops
Other information:
  • 22 collaborative evens with faculty
  • 300 top fall program attendance which was "Open Mic" with the Office of Community Engagement
  • 140 top spring attendance which was "Awake, A Dream from Standing Rock" with Cinema Studies
  • 4 series programs: Sankofa Film Series, Calling In & Out for Racial Justice, Beloved Community Lunch & Conversation, and Sweet Connections

January/February 2018 Calendar of Events

Welcome back and welcome new students!

Below is a list of events for January/February hosted by the Multicultural Center and campus partners.

Visit us to relax, study, or meet with our staff. New this semester is office hours with the MCC Graduate Assistants.  You can chat about graduate school for an MFA or MA, in between plans for students in the art conservatory, painting, and drawing.  More details will posted soon.
